Náplň práce
WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT:
- Collecting data (for the preparation of tax returns) within and outside Finance and from IT reports
- Calculation of tax liabilities in many tax areas (most corporate income tax, withholding tax, property tax, motor vehicle tax, excise taxes…)
- Calculating based on the collected data in order to prepare the tax returns
- Preparation of tax returns and reporting forms, e.g. Intrastat
- Properly archiving the tax returns and supporting analytics
- Tracking the tax payment liabilities
- Obtaining tax certificates
- Reviewing the tax account statements and prepare reconciliation of taxes
- Participation in smaller and bigger (full scope) tax authority audits
- Reporting the changes, preparing declarations to the tax authority
- Cooperation with the tax authorities
- Reviewing the tax related general ledger accounts and initiating the necessary booking entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing draft guideline requests
- Preparing tax data tables e.g. for quarterly reporting purposes
- Cooperating with other departments within Tesco
- Communicating the tax related information with the relevant colleagues
- Increasing customer satisfaction
- Helping handle the tax related questions and complaints in connection with invoices
