WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:
- Actively participate on the development of the automated forecasting system with teams in CE, UK and India
- Maintain, design and develop machine learning systems and models (using Python, Matlab)
- Produce analysis, reports and charts to support decision making
- Proactively review system functions and processes to implement changes improving our business
- Manage end-to-end process review (could require cross-functional cooperation) and provide professional update for the management
- Provide regular and ad hoc insights about the past trends of the core KPIs of Supply Chain and/or the whole company (e.g.: Availability, Service Level, Waste) on CE level
- Support colleagues from operations teams with professional tips and giving them guidelines for their daily job
Požiadavky
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Secondary school or higher
- Required technical skills of SQL, MS Excel
- English language on intermediate level
- Good analytical and statistical skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Good presentation and communication skills to interpret conclusions
- Attention to the details
- Willing to learn about new approaches in the data science field
Good to have:
- Knowledge about any of the following languages Python, Matlab, R or Scala
- Understanding version control (Git, GitHub)
- Understanding Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark)
- Understanding the basic principles of Machine Learning (train/test, data validation, basic models)
